Xbox Game Studios utilisant Unreal Engine 5


With the new generation's recent Unreal Engine 5, many developers praise EPIC for the tremendous technology upgrade. Phil Spencer took advantage of his official Twitter account to congratulate the team who worked on Unreal Engine 5 and stated that many Xbox Game Studios teams use the power for Xbox Series X. Ninja Theory is one Many development teams using the new generation Unreal Engine power to build Hell blade II: Senna's Saga. The next generation of consoles comes out this holiday season, the Xbox One library being backward compatible on the Xbox Series X and Microsoft offering intelligent delivery for multigenerational titles.

The incredible work of the Epic Unreal Engine team, many of our AGS studios use Unreal, said Phil Spencer. As Ninja Theory's team creates Hell blade II, and we are delighted to give life to these UE5 innovations on Xbox Series X. When the images of Unreal Engine 5 have been published, many people acted as if only the PS5 would use the engine, but Phil Spencer said that the two new generation consoles would build their games using the new Unreal Engine.

After Phil Spencer's announcement, there can be no confusion that Epic Games works with Xbox and PlayStation to develop their new generation titles. The recently presented technology demo was playable with the PS5, but it is likely that the Xbox Series X has its own playable version of the same Demo inspired by Tomb Raider. It will be interesting to see which studios use the power of Unreal Engine 5 and which use their own engines for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 games.
