Football Associations Open Joint Office

For deepening and expansion of their cooperation, the football continental associations in Europe (UEFA) and South America (Conmebol) in London opened a joint office.

UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin and his colleague Alejandro Domínguez sealed the agreement in the British capital, shared both associations. The London site intensifies common projects in various fields, including football events as well as coaching and referee courses.

Not A Football Club; A Family The first large UEFA Presidenting event, the Conmebol and UEFA now organize together, is the "FinalalisSima" - a conference between Copa-América winner Argentina and European champion Italy. The tickets for the duel on June 1 at the London Wembley Stadium were sold out in a week.

Conmebol boss Domínguez appreciated the "historical significance" of the common office and stressed: "Conmebol and UEFA have decided to bring their cooperation to a higher strategic level." The office will help both associations "work together for the development of football within our confederations and beyond", Čeferin said.
