Zelda Ocarina of Time: This fan
Zelda: Ocarina of Time still looks great in the romantically transfigured memory of many fans. In fact, the original (and its emulation on the Nintendo Switch) now works quite old -fashioned and anything but pretty. Accordingly, there are many efforts to make the cult classic shine in new splendor. Like this, which has been running for a while, looks more and more beautiful and can even be played.
Zelda: Ocarina of Time even offers co-op in fan remake
There are many videos on fan remakes from Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Some of them also look extremely impressive, but serve more as a showcase, finger exercise, homage or pastime. In these very recommended videos, you can see how good Zelda: Oot could look in the Unreal Engine 5:
Kakariko has never looked as pretty as in this video * Zelda in Unreal Engine 5: Fan short film shows breathtaking graphics splendor So Zelda Botw would look with raytracing and 8k graphics
Not just pretty: What modder and Zelda superfan Cryzenx has been organizing for over ten years, but goes far beyond all of the above. It is apparently not just a concern to make Ocarina of Time look as good as possible, but should also be playable-for everyone, and even in the co-op multiplayer for up to four people.
Here you can download: If you want to try the fan project yourself, you can just do so. To do this, you just have to join the Cryzenx discord server. If you want, you can also support the author via Patreon and then get an early access to the latest versions and more. Otherwise you only need a PC on which the fan project runs.

But be careful! Nintendo is known not to be good at fan projects of this kind. To be honest, we are quite surprised that the whole thing has not yet been covered with a copyright warning and takedown notices, but is still online. Accordingly, you should rather hurry if you want to play this fan version of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. However, waiting could also be worthwhile: Cryzenx will soon switch to the Unreal Engine 5.
How do you like the fan remake of Zelda: Ocarina of Time?
